Born out of a love for the hospitality industry and the outdoors. Switchback Premier Adventure Properties’ vision is to enable everyone to get outside, do the things they love, and connect with the environment - all while supporting the communities that it serves.
We know that Short Term Rentals can be a vital partner to the towns and cities in which we are located. We can be Good Neighbors and members of the community while helping the local economy by driving tourism to these small towns. We have experience working with organizations in creating responsible STR regulations and believe that being responsible in both the outdoors and in business is vital for a great working relationship for years to come.
Additionally, we believe in giving back to the towns we work in and the recreational communities which we serve- through youth outdoor and athletic programs, local outdoor groups, and housing assistance programs.
Switchback is based locally in Manhattan, Montana. We live, work, and play here 24/7/365 days a year.
We are a husband & wife team that met in the ski industry 20+ years ago. Combining our passion for good customer service, hospitality, and the great outdoors, we have over 20 years of marketing experience.
We started this company out of our love of hosting – whether it is in our short-term rentals, exploring and sharing this region with visiting friends and family, or hosting holiday and Super Bowl parties at our home. We want to ensure every guest feels welcome and has the right info to make the most of their trip.
Switchback offers a wide variety of privately owned rental properties to choose from that cater to your adventure. Our vacation rentals are located in beautiful Southwest Montana, where there is an endless supply of outdoor fun to be had all year round.
These locations are a perfect way to unwind from the hustle and bustle and embark on your next adventure. From fishing, hunting, hiking, and golf, to ziplining, kayaking, paddle boarding, and horseback riding, to cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, kiteboarding, and much more, Southwest Montana is abundant with outdoor activities.

We believe in giving back and donating a portion of our proceeds to outdoor and athletic programs and housing assistance programs in the communities where we are located.
There is no shortage of history here in Montana, and we love reclaiming properties to ensure the aesthetic and historical charm is retained. These properties can be rented and enjoyed by all.
